Introducing the new electric bike ECONO Apes CITY EER5 – 2025 model. Designed for comfortable city rides and exploring more varied terrains, the **ECONO Apes CITY EER5** is the perfect choice for riders seeking reliability, versatility, and comfort.
Equipped with a powerful rear motor, the Bafang H400B, delivering 40 Nm of torque, this bike easily conquers both flat roads and hills. The motor operates with a torque sensor, meaning the ride adapts to your pedaling force—similar to bikes with mid-drive motors. This functionality ensures a natural and efficient riding experience across all terrains.
The bike is powered by a reliable ECONO battery, developed and assembled at our facility, and available in three capacities: 520Wh, 700Wh, and 800Wh. All batteries are interchangeable between our 2025 models, offering greater flexibility. Ride data is displayed on a compact, color side screen, where you can choose from five levels of assistance: ECO, TOUR, SPORT, SPORT+, and BOOST.
Comfortable rides are ensured by the SR Suntour front suspension with 75 mm of travel, while the Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic brakes provide reliable and safe stopping power. The Shimano Altus 9-speed drivetrain delivers smooth shifting, further enhancing confident and seamless rides.
The ECONO Apes CITY EER5 is designed with comfort in mind: a wide saddle, ergonomic grips, an adjustable stem, and a curved handlebar promote an upright posture and a relaxed riding position.

Technology
Rear motor
Bafang H400B, 250W 36V 40Nm. It operates with a torque sensor. Motor is installed in the rear hub of the bike.
Removable integrated battery
ECONO ELK 36V 520, 700 ali 800Wh baterija. Easy removal and installation of the battery into the frame.
ECONO 2A charger
With the purchase of the 520Wh battery, a standard 2A charger is included. With the purchase of the 700Wh or 800Wh battery, a fast 4A charger is included.
Display Bafang C080
You can monitor your ride data on a compact, color side display. Assistance levels available: OFF, ECO, TOUR, SPORT, SPORT+, and BOOST.
Aluminium Lite
Aluminium alloy 6061 is resistant to corrosion and load and is suitable for lightweight tubes with high rigidity.
