About product
Replacement lens for your Gloworm Light. X2 and XS use the ejnono lens, while CX and Alpha have the same dual lens.
SPOT (9600% u/FWHM 17 degrees) - point optics provide the shortest beam. It is also the most efficient and provides maximum light power. It can be used together with another lens to achieve maximum power and thus beam distance. This configuration is best used on the helmet to illuminate the path or notice the exit from the bend. Alternatively, the spot should be replaced by another optical type from an alternative light sample.
FLOOD (84% Effective /FWHM 25 degrees) – For a smooth pattern of diffuse light, the flood lens is the best option. It captures light and smooths light across the width of the beam, which slightly facilitates visibility and creates even light from left to right. A pair of Flood lenses would provide a smooth light, but this would lose a significant amount of light compared to a pair of SPOT lenses. FLOOD is best used in tandem with SPOT or WIDE lens.
WIDE (87činkovito% u / FWHM 40 degrees) - This lens provides a wide rectangular beam, uses output light to provide more peripheral light and less light in the vertical axis. Although not as optically efficient as spot lens, it provides a very good output for the wide-angle lens. Two wide lenses can be combined as an excellent option for use on the road, but in conjunction with the FLOOD or SPORT lens it is possible to create an effective hybrid beam.
HONEYCOMB (8700% u/30 degrees) - designed for use with the XSV system, is used to obtain a smooth pattern of diffuse light when used with two SPOT lenses or another honeycomb lens. It takes away the light and smooths it over the width of the beam, which slightly eases the eye's visibility and creates a more even transition from the center of the light beam.
