Comtron batteries
Developing and producing battery solutions used in our own ECONO e-bikes. This close connection between battery development and our cycling business allows us to combine in-house technical expertise with real-world experience from the e-bike market.
Behind ECONO: Comtron d.o.o.
Behind ECONO.EU and ECONO Bikes is Comtron d.o.o., a Slovenian company founded in 1989.
For more than three decades, Comtron has been active in technology, developing expertise across IT, software, technical solutions, retail and customer support. Over time, that technical background expanded into cycling and e-mobility. What began as a new business area grew into today's ECONO activities – combining retail, wholesale, our own products, service and technical expertise.
At the same time, our work with e-mobility and battery technology developed into a specialised battery solutions division within Comtron. Today, these different areas allow us to work with everyone from an individual cyclist looking for a new bike to retailers, business partners and companies looking for specialised technical solutions.
